"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Something's just not clicking with me and Photoshop/Painter. If anyone knows some good tutorials, please let me know. Maybe it's my colour theory (I had way too many lessons, but I'm still terrible with colour) or maybe it's my limited knowledge of Photoshop CS3.
I'll get around to posting some of my scraps and WIPs so everyone can see what I mean and provide some constructive criticisms.
